MadInSpain 07 : PsicoTipoGrafico
Madrid Community has never had a Congress like the International Design and web development Congress which was organized by DMSTK in 2003. MadinSpain comes back to Madrid with more force, quality, audience and news.
The Congress will concentrate during two days (21st and 22nd of september) the best international and national web designers and programmers with more than 900 people sharing their experiences, interests and inspirations.

Shift has been trying to offer artists many platforms to showcase their works online.
The Shift calendar competition, held from 2003 successively, pushes the boundaries between online and off line using a “calendar” as its medium.
Entries are invited from all over the world and selected works will be distributed throughout the world in the format of a physical calendar.

Mais do que o fim da imprensa, o fim da caligrafia? Segundo a Wired ainda há pelo menos um jornal na Índia a ser inteiramente produzido à mão – “the handcrafted The Musalman daily newspaper… Urdu is sweeter when written by hand”.
Here in the shadow of the Wallajah Mosque, a team of six puts out this hand-penned paper. Four of them are katibs — writers dedicated to the ancient art of Urdu calligraphy. It takes three hours using a pen, ink and ruler to transform a sheet of paper into news and art.
